Powers

The Eight Powers

·         The power to let go…
In a second you pack up all wasteful thinking about past, present and future events and remain positive, lighthearted and free of burdens and worries.

·         The power to tolerate…
Like a fruit-bearing tree, you have the strength to remain unaffected by the storms, floods and droughts of life and can respond to challenges with a positive frame of mind. Irritation and annoyance disappear. Nothing disturbs your light frame of mind. The fragrance of this power is attractive to all.

·         The power to accept…
Like the ocean, which merges all that flows into it, you accommodate and merge all that happens, so past is past, and the future seems clear and bright. Like the ocean, you accept and encourage the presence, ideas and desires of others.

·         The power to decide…
With clarity and confidence, you assess all situations and the quality of choices, decisions and actions – your own and others – with accuracy.

·         The power to discern…
Like the trained eye of a jeweller who discerns the real from the imitation, your clarity of mind discerns beneficial from destructive, true from false, within a second.

·         The power to face…
Nothing seems like an obstacle, but rather a stepping-stone to victory. You have developed the ability to confront and resolve external and internal obstacles, tests and challenges with great faith and courage. To lack this power means to be dominated by external dramas.

·         The power to co-operate…
Having developed your ability to give your time, experience and wisdom in the service of others, you do not feel that you are competing against anyone. You understand that you are helping all selflessly. Here, the surrender of the ego is required.

·         The power to withdraw…
Like a tortoise, moving to a position of safety, you withdraw from the organs of the body, and become the seed, detached and an observer of the drama of life. You disengage from negative, hurtful situations and remain calm. Contentment comes.
